Service to Be Provided:
The Maintenance Service Provider agrees to perform basic maintenance services in the Client’s home, including, but not limited to, minor repairs as requested by the Client.
Responsibilities of the Service Provider:
- Perform the maintenance services professionally and with due diligence.
- Use appropriate and quality materials and tools for the services provided.
- Adhere to the agreed timelines for the provision of services.
- Inform the Client of any relevant findings during the execution of the services.
Responsibilities of the Client:
- Provide safe and adequate access to the home for the performance of maintenance services.
- Inform the Provider of any special situation or specific need in the home.
- Pay the agreed fees for the services provided on the established date.
Limitation of Liability:
The Maintenance Service Provider will not be responsible for damages caused by circumstances beyond their control, such as natural disasters, acts of vandalism, or negligence on the part of the Client.
Applicable Law:
This contract is governed by the laws of the state of Florida and, in particular, by the laws of Miami-Dade County.
Licenses and Permits:
If licenses and permits are required for the work to be done, they will be prepared following the regulations of each city or county. These costs will be estimated and will be the responsibility of the client. A company dedicated to managing these permits and licenses will be recommended, and they will handle the process. These costs will be paid directly to the company and are not included in the plan.
Notification Regarding Old Installations:
If the installation, device, or appliance is old, before the maintenance technician performs any intervention, they will notify the Client in writing. Authorization to proceed will be the responsibility of the Client, as it cannot be guaranteed that there will be no additional damage due to the age of the installation, which could result in a more extensive job.
